Your works are full of color and smell; the colors are mostly cold but that is also their attraction. In your works, color doesn't follow form but decisively fills out the space. They show a lot of life, a lot of blue, a lot of spurts of energy, creating the atmosphere of the sea. The fish is both a classical and original image, containing both Christianity and the religion of the Mesopotamia (Dagon). Your works are full of movement; they seem to want to fly off the canvas.
When I look at your paintings, they cause the brightest emotions in me. First, the colors are very bright, which lightens the mood; second, because the prevailing ones are the blue, the lilac, the orange and the coffee and their shades. These are my favorite colors!!! Third, your abstractions always have precise and clear lines. I think that testifies to your clarity of thinking as an artist – to your clarity, period.
The fact that Iskan became possessed by the irresistible desire to paint is a manifestation of the child that lives in each of us but that few have the gift of acknowledge and understand. His is the joy of further discoveries, of each moment, each second, of the boundless joy from a pair of new shoes, brushes, paints – the joy from all the new toys that others don’t have and he himself hasn’t had his fill of. A new discovery, a new toy are there for the taking.
Thank you so much for this discovery into your life, both in text and paintings. Your story is so interesting. I like the way you think! Looking at your paintings, I now see that you can turn them around and see it different. Clever. I love the way you use blue color. It changes during the day, from morning light to evening, making the painting alive.
A riot of colors; the gamut is so diverse; it is just through color that the emotions are conveyed, and the fancy shapes make both the mind and imagination work. Abstraction becomes reality; everything exudes harmony; a butterfly turns into a wonderful dragonfly, and from the right angle you can watch a new being born and dive into eternity.
